Fresh New Handspun

Here's some of the handspun from the rovings I dyed below in the previous post.

And here is one where I was trying to get pink, purple and blue in the one roving. It didn't work but thats okay, I will try again. The color is yuck!

And here it is in singles, yuck!

Here's some more dyeing, this is a gorgeous purple, I was pleased with this one.

And two different shades of green, the first one is shades of blue and green.

And here is an English Leicester fleece I washed and is ready for spinning. Gorgeous white and cream locks.

Out of the Dyepot

A couple of weeks I did some dyeing, it was lovely to be playing with color again!

These next two are some English Leicester fleece I spun then dyed, both the same fleece into different dyepots, the first one is actually purple but the pic hasn't shown the true color.

We went to a Heritage Train Festival a month or two ago and my son got his face painted, I reckon the lady did an amazing job! Seven bucks well spent! He got many a second look as we walked around, and some of the other kids wouldn't go anywhere near him..... ha ha ha ha ha!!

And here's the same boy mowing the lawn with my new (secondhand) lawnmower, she's a little ripper!

The Very Second......

Why is it that DS5 is happily playing Playstation 2 until I put up the 'create post' on my blog..... again.
